For many years, I had the same dentist back home, and I trusted her a lot. I honestly never thought I would feel comfortable enough to see another dentist, let alone have that same level of trust. After moving to Toronto, finding a new dentist was a real challenge for me. I visited some different dental offices because I wanted to find the right place for me. But my anxiety was so bad that my hands would shake, and sometimes I couldn’t even walk through the door. When I finally went to see Dr. Ebrahim, I told him before the examination, “I’m nervous.” The funny thing is, I was actually trying to hide how badly my hands were shaking. He simply looked at me and said, “That’s my problem!” I was a little surprised when he said that. But after the examination, I understood exactly what he meant. He took his time, examined me calmly, explained everything clearly, and made me feel that I didn’t have to be afraid. Little by little, I started to feel comfortable and realized that I could trust him. I was also dealing with a back problem at the time, which made sitting in the dental chair uncomfortable for me. Dr. Ebrahim and his team understood my situation and did their best to make things easier for me. I really appreciated that. I also want to thank Dr. Mehrnoush, Dr. Pouria, and Dr. Pouya. Each of them was involved in different parts of my treatment, and I genuinely had a great experience with all of them. Honestly, I couldn’t say one was better than the other. And a big thank you to all the dental assistants as well. They were patient, kind, and supportive throughout the process. These things might seem small, but when you are someone who gets very anxious about going to the dentist, they mean a lot. I can only speak from my own experience, and my experience was this: after years of trusting the same dentist and being so anxious about seeing someone new, I was able to build that trust again with another dentist. Now I understand what Dr. Ebrahim meant when he said, “That’s my problem!” For me, it wasn’t just something he said. He genuinely took my anxiety seriously and helped me feel comfortable enough to get through it. Thank you, Dr. Ebrahim, Dr. Mehrnoush, Dr. Pouria, Dr. Pouya, and all the wonderful dental assistants for being there for me throughout this experience.

DIGITAL X RAYS

As part of our commitment to providing our dental patients with the safest, most effective dental options available, we use digital radiology at Pearl Dental Group.

Digital x-rays are safer, faster, more accurate, and environmentally friendly than their traditional counterparts.
The x-rays require no film, therefore reducing exposure to radiation by 80 percent and eliminating hazardous waste.
Patients simply close their mouths on digital sensors while our computers process the images within seconds.
The amount of radiation received in a lifetime of dental x-rays is less than one day in the sun.

Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral cameras allow our dentists and professional staff to transmit crystal-clear images of the inside of your mouth to a monitor, allowing for easier and more accurate diagnosis of potential oral health problems. Using special software, we are able to enlarge these images, freeze them, or view them in real time. This technology aids our dentists in explaining their diagnoses to patients during consultations. You can see all defects such as cavities, damaged or old restorations, tooth fractures, plaque and more that are not visible to the naked eye.

Computerized Dentistry

At North York Pearl Dental Group, we use a state-of-the-art CEREC computerized dental restoration milling machine to provide our patients with the most convenient dental experience possible. This system allows us to custom-craft metal-free ceramic onlays, crowns, and veneers of the highest quality while you wait in our office. Autoclave Sterilization
